Hot off the press from Connecticut, or at least hot off the US court system PACER, the judge who is dealing with Sean Dunne’s bankruptcy filing has written to Sean threatening to dismiss the bankruptcy filing unless a raft of documents omitted from the Good Friday filing are submitted.Judge Shiff says the following documents are missing and provides Sean with a due date by which they must be filed:
Chapter 7 Means Test due 04/12/2013
Schedules A−J due 04/12/2013
Aty Discl Stmt 2016(b) due 04/12/2013
Stmt. of Fin. Affairs due 04/12/2013
Debtors Declaration Page due 04/12/2013
Statistical Summ of Schedules due 04/12/2013
Summary of Schedules due 04/12/2013
Statement of Intent due Monday, 4/29/13
The judge also informs Sean that he didn’t attach an acceptable “certificate from an approved nonprofit credit counseling agency, or a statement that describes urgent and justifiable circumstances for your failure to file that certificate, or a request for a determination by the court you are unable to complete the credit counseling requirements because of incapacity, disability, or active military duty in a combat zone”
As we saw on Sunday, Sean did include an certificate from some internet counseling outfit, with his application but it seems that was not acceptable.
There is a hearing on Monday next where Sean will be given the opportunity to explain the omissions and to seek to reassure the court that he will rectify matters.

It’s incredibly easy does not cost much,,only creditors or their agents can do this.If creditors are somewhat intimidated by the prospect of US litigation, they MAY be able to find a US company willing to fill in these forms and at least object……but they have too be their registered agent in this matter.
