NAMA is beginning to notch up quite a number of sales, some of which have been disclosed by NAMA, others reported in the media and there’s a good chance that there have been sales which have not been disclosed at all. This entry brings us up to date on reported sales, that is sales in the public domain. Sales information will be regularly updated – in the format below which shows the property followed by the reported developer or main developer, the buyer where known, the reported sales price and the date of the report of the sale – under the NAMA property for sale tab above.

*Not confirmed that this was a NAMA property. The Cosgraves are reportedly a NAMA Top 10 developer but it is not confirmed if the property above was subject to any loan, let alone a loan under NAMA’s control)
** NAMA’s involvement with the reported sale of loans has not been confirmed.
Interesting to see Tchenguiz in there, from the frying pan to the fire:
http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2011/jul/22/london-glitziest-hotels-fill-up
“This month Menzies Hotels, which operates 16 four-star properties, was acquired in management buyout after its parent group, owned by property tycoon Robert Tchenguiz, fell into administration.”
The BBC have also reported that Jermon’s Strabane Retail Park was sold to Mansford Real Estate but there was no confirmation of Nama involvement.
@JP, thanks for that. There have been other sales by NAMAed developers, eg McAleer & Rushe’s sale at 2-14 Baker Street (https://namawinelake.wordpress.com/2011/03/29/a-return-to-the-mystery-on-baker-street-as-northern-irish-property-company-confirms-loans-have-transferred-to-nama/)
but unless there has been some report of NAMA’s involvement, I have omitted such sales from the list above.
@Andrew S, thanks also. The Robert Tchenguiz purchase was reported by the Mail on Sunday earlier in the year. As with many of the sales shown above, NAMA has not confirmed the transactions as the agency does not generally comment on specific loans/properties/developers.
I understand that the warehouse on Gt Strand St, (which is Dn 1 not Dn 2) has been sold also to the occupier of an adjacent site, who intends to connect it to his business. The rumoured price was €250,000. It is No 14 on Page 10 of the NAMA list.
Almost 2 years on and this is the sum total of NAMA’s sales achievement? zzzz….. zzzzz….. zzzzzzz
