In the Oireachtas last week, Minister for Finance, Brian Lenihan stated that NAMA now had 23 employees with 9 employed in credit management and 5 employed in legal. Their salaries and terms of employment are confidential, no matter how much Opposition politicians try to get at that juicy information.
Today NAMA announced two key appointments – Graham Emmett comes on board most recently from Ernst and Young where he was involved in the liquidation of that part of George Soros’s old bank Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander that wasn’t transferred to ING. Graham will be NAMA’s Head of Lending.
Frank O’Connor becomes NAMA’s Head of Treasury after some 20 years in banking and most recently working with BZ WBK in Poland.

UPDATE: 15th August, 2010. NAMA is reported by the Sunday Tribune to have recruited Patrick Ryan to deal with the many hotel assets that NAMA is acquiring. Patrick was latterly a consultant at Christie and Co in London.
