What I fail to understand is the Irish public and media tolerance for meat products adulterated (injected) with water. As I contemplate my Bord Bia quality assured “rashers” swimming in all that water and white stuff, I wonder if the Food Safety Authority will survive the next budget, having committed the ultimate no-no for an Irish regulatory agency – i.e. actually doing what they’re supposed to do.

Also wonder if they test for human dna in burgers? Maybe I’ve been reading too much Upton Sinclair…. or Soylent Green… or Beef Tribunal reports
