We predicted all of this on here two years ago. The ratio of performing loans is falling precipitously in line with predictions as the quality income producing assets are sold and the garbage is left to fester. It is the true measure of NAMA’s performance.

The “profit” of €141 million before impairments on the back of a reduced value portfolio of c. €30 billion and the sale of its prime assets is farcical and demonstrates the incompetent performance of the Agency. It is also a tangible reflection the “sweetheart” deals that are happening behind closed doors under political pressure and influence. You think that the CoCo the clown deal and the subsequent employment of influential public sector executives into Bank of Ireland is an isolated signal?

It is all so self-fulfilling. Even Joan Burton knows the truth.

“(2) Non-performing loans by reference to original book value has declined from 19% in Q2,2012 to just 17% in Q3,2012.”

I think that this should refer to Performing loans (as per page 11 of the quarterly report).
